India, Aug. 14 -- A 26-year-old man was found murdered with his throat slit at his friend's house in Sector 13's Rajiv Nagar (east) on Thursday, police said.

Police identified the victim as Sujeet Kumar Kharwar, a native of Hariharpur in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He worked as a private security guard and lived in the same locality as his friend, police said.

Police said Kharwar's two friends, who lived in the house from which the body was recovered, were on the run at present.

A senior police officer said the owner of the building found the flat's door slightly open.

"When he went inside, he saw Kharwar's body on the bed. He alerted the police control room," he said.
