India, April 2 -- A 30-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after falling between the platform and railway track at Thane railway station while allegedly performing stunts on a moving train on Tuesday night. According to officials, the legs of the victim, Purshottam Paswan, got severed from the ankles in the mishap.

Paswan, a native of Jharkhand, was travelling on the Indrayani Express from Pune. When he fell, alert passengers immediately informed the train guard, who applied the emergency brake and brought the train to a halt.
