Gurugram, June 1 -- Police have booked 10 people for allegedly brutally assaulting a 32-year-old man and robbing him in the middle of a road in Gurugram's Sector 14 on Friday night, an officer said on Sunday. According to the victim, a resident of Rajiv Nagar, Sector 13, the incident occurred around 10.15pm, when he and his acquaintance, near New Mata Road, noticed a motorcycle, an SUV without a registration plate, and a hatchback following them. They were overpowered and the suspect dragged the victim out of the SUV and brutally assaulted him leaving him unconscious. His acquaintance was also assaulted. Police said the accused took away a gold chain and Rs.15,000 in cash.
