Kolkata, Sept. 2 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday accused the Centre of "misusing" the Indian Army for "political vendetta" after the force dismantled a stage erected by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in central Kolkata to protest alleged atrocities on Bengali-speaking migrant workers in BJP-ruled states. The stage was set up on army land in Maidan area.
"It is not the army but the BJP and the Union government who are behind this. They are misusing the army," the chief minister said. P8
