New Delhi, May 23 -- Two army pilots and a major general had a narrow escape after their Cheetah helicopter crashed in the mountainous Tangtse area near Leh, officials said on Friday.
The three men sustained minor injuries in the crash, which occurred on Wednesday. The incident comes as the Army is set to begin phasing out its ageing Cheetah and Chetak helicopters over the next one to two years.P9
