Ludhiana, June 5 -- With the monsoon season approaching, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and senior municipal corporation officials on Thursday inspected flood-prone localities along the Buddha Nullah and directed departments to expedite ongoing infrastructure works aimed at preventing waterlogging and overflow in residential areas.

The inspection covered Dhoka Mohalla, Dharampura, Ranjit Park and other low-lying localities that have repeatedly witnessed flooding during heavy rainfall. Zonal commissioners Amanpreet Singh and Neeraj Jain accompanied the MLA during the visit.
