LUCKNOW, July 26 -- The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) honoured the families of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in line of duty on the 27th anniversary of the 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak directed authorities to identify all families in Lucknow whose members have served the Army and ensure their grievances are resolved within a fixed timeline.

Pathak issued the directive at an event held at the Kargil Shaheed Smriti Vatika.
