Mohali, Dec. 16 -- A 30-year-old kabaddi player and event promoter died on Monday evening, shortly after he was shot during a tournament in Mohali, police said. SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans said the incident took place around 5.30 pm, when Kanwar Digvijay Singh, popularly known as Rana Balachauria, was about to enter the field. "They came close to the kabaddi promoter on the pretext of taking selfies and opened fire. Only the promoter was hit by bullets.
