India, April 2 -- justify;">Punjab is set to receive an investment of Rs.1,100 crore from Jogindra Group across steel manufacturing and renewable energy sectors, state Industries and Commerce Minister Sanjeev Arora said on Tuesday.

According to the minister, the expansion plan includes Rs.700 crore in steel operations through units such as Jogindra Castings and Vardhman Adarsh, and Rs.400 crore in renewable energy projects under Jogindra Green India.

Arora said the investment is expected to increase the group's turnover from around Rs.3,000 crore to Rs.5,000 crore, while employment is projected to rise from about 1,800 to 3,000.
