India, Aug. 26 -- Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon suffered an ankle injury and is expected to be out for at least four weeks. It leaves rookie running back Woody Marks, among the RBs in the roster who are in the pole position to start for the Texans on Week 1 of the NFL season.
ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Mixon was not included in the Texas squad announced on Monday. He has been moved to the reserve/ non-football injury squad, which means he will be out for at least four weeks.
Mixon suffered the injury earlier during the offseason when it was reported that the running back could miss Week 1. He was out of the Texans squad in the NFL Preseason, with Woody Marks leading the offensive line for the Texans. As the T...
