Jamshedpur (East) MLA Purnima Das Sahu has demanded a ban on Chinese choppers and butcher's knives in the wake of a series of murderous attacks in Jamshedpur even as the city police has started contemplating some sort of regulations to curb this deadly disturbing trend, people aware of the matter said on Friday.

At least seven murderous attacks have been reported in Jamshedpur during the past 11 days in which one person has died and eight others have been injured.
