India, Aug. 28 -- A locked flat on the ground floor at C Block of Ardee City gated community in Sector 52 was burgled on Monday in broad daylight, when the residents of the house were away at work, police said on Thursday.

According to details shared by the police, a couple reside in the house. On the day of the crime, the wife, Simran Verma, left home at around 9.15am for work and the husband, Harshit Singh Soni, left at around 10.15am, after locking the house.
