Jawahar Pandit murder case: HC rejects second bail pleas of Karwariya brothers, co-accused
PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 7 -- The Allahabad high court has rejected the second bail applications of former MP Kapil Muni Karwariya, former MLC Surya Bhan Karwariya and co-accused Ramchandra Tripathi alias Kallu. All three are currently serving life imprisonment in connection with the high-profile 1996 murder of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Jawahar Yadav, popularly known as Jawahar Pandit.
A division bench comprising Justice Salil Kumar Rai and Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal passed the order while hearing the criminal appeals filed by the Karwariya brothers and Tripathi.
