India, Aug. 20 -- The Union government on Monday introduced the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2025, in the Lok Sabha, proposing amendments to 288 provisions across 16 laws, including 47 provisions of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Act, 1994. A key measure under it is the overhaul of the property tax system in New Delhi, bringing it in line with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
