Ranchi, Sept. 7 -- Jharkhand higher education minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu died of cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Giridih district on Sunday, people aware of the matter said. He was 56. The Hemant Soren-led government has declared a two-day state mourning following the death of senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader. The two-term Giridih MLA had complained of discomfort at his residence before being rushed to the hospital, where he died during treatment around 4 am.
