India, Aug. 24 -- Overwatch appears to be down for thousands of users in the United States, with several players reporting the "Game Server Connection Failed" error. According to outage-tracking website Downdetector, reports began rising on Sunday afternoon, with the number of complaints continuing to climb into the evening.

As of 6:18pm EDT on August 23, there were 1,417 reports of Overwatch being down, according to Downdetector data.
