India, April 30 -- In what has been a shocking update for many Cleveland Browns fans, it was reported on Wednesday that Shedeur Sanders, who finished last season as the Browns' QB1, could no longer keep the position in the 2026-27 NFL season. It has been revealed that with the upcoming season still five months away, Todd Monken prefers Deshaun Watson over Sanders in the QB1 position.
Browns Insider Mary Kat Cabot reported on Cleveland.com that Monken's preference for Watson over Sanders came after the team held a voluntary minicamp this week, based on the performances in the camp.
