Haldwani, Aug. 26 -- An adult male tiger rescued in a critically injured condition from the Phato range of Uttarakhand's Terai West forest division died during treatment at a rescue centre in Corbett National Park on Tuesday evening, forest officials said.

The tiger was rescued a few days ago and shifted to the rescue centre in the Dhela range of the national park, where a team of wildlife veterinarians treated it and kept it under round-the-clock observation.
