Shimla, Dec. 16 -- After a gap of six years, the Indo-China border trade via Shipki La - a strategic pass near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) - will re-commence from June 2026 as the state government has received political clearance from the ministry of external affairs (MEA). Notably, both countries had agreed for the same through a few points in August this year. Now, the Kinnaur district administration has initiated preparatory measures for the same.
