India, April 17 -- Six months ago, Shreyas Iyer ruptured his spleen while attempting a tough catch. While he was able to hold on to it and get rid of the dangerous Alex Carey, it cost Shreyas the next two months of his career. Thankfully, the extent of the damage wasn't much, and he was able to recover in time for the ODI series against New Zealand in January. With scores of 49, 8 and 3, Shreyas offered a glimpse of what was to come and chose the 2026 Indian Premier League to remind why he must no longer be overlooked.
