New Delhi, Aug. 15 -- Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said her government was working to create a development model for the national capital that other states will seek to emulate, focusing on speedy decision-making, timely project completion, and ensuring government benefits reach people.

Addressing the Delhi government's Independence Day function at Chhatrasal Stadium, Gupta said decisions taken in Delhi could direct the entire country and asserted that the government was committed to setting new benchmarks in development and governance.
