India, April 4 -- Two men have been booked for allegedly posing as qualified doctors and fraudulently providing medical services through their unauthorised clinics in Shivaji Nagar, Govandi.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Rajeev Ranjan, 34, and Kubernath Yadav, 56, were operating clinics without possessing recognised medical degrees or registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council.
The action was jointly carried out by the Mumbai Crime Branch Police and officials from the BMC's M East ward (Govandi) following a tip-off about illegal medical practice in the area.
