India, Aug. 12 -- Summer has officially convinced me that cotton kurtas deserve far more space in my wardrobe. When the temperature starts climbing, I find myself reaching for breathable, lightweight fabrics more than anything else, and cotton has consistently been the easiest choice.

What I particularly love about cotton kurtas is that they don't require much effort to look good. A printed kurta with straight pants can get me through a workday, while the same piece can look completely different with jeans, jhumkas or a colourful dupatta. They're comfortable enough for long hours but still look polished, which is exactly what I want from summer dressing.
