New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- The Delhi Police have sounded a high-alert in the national capital and have beefed up security arrangements at tourist places, guest houses, hotels, and eating outlets, especially frequented by Jews, following Sunday's shooting at Sydney's Bondi Beach in Australia that claimed the lives at least 11 people and left many others injured, at least three senior police officers said. They said no specific intelligence inputs regarding any similar attack in the city have been received.
