India, Aug. 23 -- Witnesses have claimed on social media that there was a shooting in Hebron. "Active shooter" claims have surfaced as witnesses reported seeing several cops and fire trucks at the site near Lowell, Indiana.

"What the hell is happening in Lowell Indiana. Shit ton of cops, ambulances and fire trucks off route 2 and i65," a user wrote on Facebook.

"There is an active shooter right around DW's country junction, people have been shot. If you have kids or friends going down tonight, you may give them a heads up. They are on lock down," another user wrote.
