Gym owner shot dead in Haryana's Hansi; gang rivalry suspected
India, June 11 -- A 25-year-old gym owner was shot dead and a young woman injured after two motorcycle-borne assailants opened indiscriminate fire near Fawwara Chowk (Fountain Chowk) in Haryana's Hansi town on Thursday morning. The attackers fired around 10 rounds at close range before fleeing, police said.
The deceased was identified as Kapil Redhu, a resident of Dalmwala village in Jind district. He ran a gym in Hansi and had recently shifted his fitness centre to a new location near Krantikari Chowk.
The incident occurred around 5.30am when Kapil was conducting a morning workout session for a group of clients on the steps outside a row of shops near Fawwara Chowk. According to the police, two men arrived on a Hero Splendor motorcycle...
