India, Aug. 23 -- Water supply in several parts of Gurugram is likely to be affected after a Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) water supply pipeline near Baani Square was damaged during unidentified excavation work, the authority said in an advisory issued on Saturday.

The damage has disrupted water supply to multiple sectors, with GMDA advising residents to use water judiciously until repairs are completed. The authority has not specified the duration of the disruption or a timeline for repairs. Affected areas include sectors 46, 48, 49, 50, 52, 56, 57 and 58 to 76.
