India, Aug. 12 -- The World Bank has approved a revised Rs.1,409 crore loan proposal for the second phase of the Gurugram metro, with the tender now under evaluation by senior officials of Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) and Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC), officials said on Tuesday.

The loan proposal was submitted in June for the 13km corridor from Sector 9 to Cyber Hub. A senior GMRL official said the revised tender covers civil construction, including track laying, station construction and certain double-decker stretches.
