India, March 21 -- By Mihika ShahAfter years of reported delay, a 24-metre-wide road connecting Sector 85 to the Dwarka Expressway was inaugurated on Saturday, providing direct access and easing commutes for nearly 7,000 residents across five societies.

The two-kilometre road, inaugurated by cabinet minister Rao Narbir Singh and Gurugram deputy commissioner (DC) Ajay Kumar, connects the societies to the main road, reducing reliance on narrow, congested internal routes and long detours that added several kilometres to daily commutes.
