PANAJI, Aug. 27 -- India is among the world's top five economies and would have become the third largest soon had the "recent global crisis" not occurred, but it would certainly reach that milestone too, defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday. He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating the 'Hutatma Smurti Smarak', a memorial dedicated to protesters who were killed in firing by Portuguese border guards on August 15, 1955.
