India, Oct. 28 -- External affairs minister S Jaishankar is likely to visit Canada for a meeting of the foreign ministers of the intergovernmental forum G7 in the scenic Niagara region of the province of Ontario on November 11 and 12 amid a reset in the bilateral ties, people aware of the matter said. "It [Jaishankar's visit] is almost confirmed," said an official when asked about it.
Jaishankar has been invited to the meeting along with his counterparts from the other outreach countries, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, and Ukraine, who attended the G7 Leaders' Summit in Canada's Kananaskis in June.
