TEHRAN, April 9 -- Hours after a last-minute ceasefire was announced, the United States demanded Wednesday that Iran immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz after the Islamic Republic closed the waterway in response to Israeli attacks against the Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon. Iran, on the other hand, accused the US of violating three clauses of the framework for a deal, saying the ceasefire and negotiations with US are 'unreasonable.'
