India, Aug. 23 -- A day after a 31-year-old man died after being allegedly assaulted by his wife's family members in Nihal Vihar, police on Saturday arrested four people, including the wife, in connection with the case.

The deceased, Vinay Gupta, a resident of Laxmi Park, worked as a software engineer at an MNC in Noida, police said. He married Rekha, 31, around three-and-a-half years ago, and they have four-month-old twins.

According to police, the incident took place on Friday morning after Gupta asked his wife to apply medicineto their son as he had developed blisters on his body.
