Raipur, Aug. 19 -- Security forces have destroyed a Maoist camp in a forested hilly area in Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh and recovered arms, ammunition, cash, and other materials from the spot in a joint operation, police said on Monday. Four Maoists carrying a cumulative reward of Rs. 19 lakh surrendered before the police, with Inspector General of Police, Raipur range, Amresh Mishra calling it an "unprecedented success" for the police force.
