India, Sept. 27 -- Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has warned public schools across the state not to block the formation of Turning Point USA chapters, pledging legal action if necessary.
In a video posted on X, Uthmeier said the Florida Attorney General's Office of Parental Rights launched earlier this year would intervene to ensure students' rights to free association and debate are upheld.
"We were hearing reports up and down the state of public schools not allowing Turning Point USA organizations to be formed on campus. This is discriminatory. It's wrong and we will not stand for it," Uthmeier said.
