India, Aug. 11 -- In his first field posting in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, 2022-batch trainee Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Rahul Bansal has found himself at the centre of an alleged Rs.1 crore corruption case.

Along with Bansal, who is posted as as a city superintendent of police, assistant sub-inspector Praveen Kumar Rathore and constable Anshul Sharma have been accused of demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.1 crore to cover up a cyber fraud case, according to a report by Live Hindustan.
