India, June 5 -- The FBI has put faces to alleged large-scale financial crimes after releasing photos tied to its newly launched "Most Wanted Fraudsters" list, an initiative unveiled alongside a sweeping Department of Justice anti-fraud crackdown.
According to Fox News, the new FBI list spotlights suspects accused in fraud schemes ranging from millions to billions of dollars in alleged losses tied to taxpayers, healthcare systems and government programs.
Officials said the effort is designed to help law enforcement agencies identify and apprehend fugitives accused of major financial crimes.
FBI Director Kash Patel said the "Most Wanted Fraudsters" initiative was inspired by an idea from Vice President JD Vance.
