Family of techie shot dead in US claims racial bias, seek probe
Hyderabad, Sept. 20 -- Relatives and friends of Mohammad Nizamuddin, a Telangana-based techie who was allegedly shot by the police in California, US, on Friday claimed that he was a victim of racial discrimination as they called for a fair inquiry into the incident by authorities in the US and India.
According to Nizamuddin's family, the 32-year-old was allegedly shot dead by Santa Clara Police during a clash with his roommate on September 3. The family, residing in Mahbubnagar district, claimed that they found out about the incident on Thursday after receiving information from California Police.
