Navi Mumbai, Oct. 28 -- In view of the recent incident in Indore of two Australian women cricketers being sexually harassed, Navi Mumbai police said it is taking "extra precautions" for the security of the Australian team.
Navi Mumbai commissioner of police, Milind Bharambe, said, "The security for the team being provided at the hotel and for escorting is as per the usual security arrangements provided to teams for such international events. However, some extra precautions have been taken in the case of the Australian team, in view of the Indore case to prevent any untoward incident."
