India, May 18 -- Tesla CEO Elon Musk lost his lawsuit against Sam Altman's OpenAI on Monday, with a US jury finding the artificial intelligence company was not liable to the world's richest person for allegedly shifting away from its original motto for humanity's sake.

The jury at a California federal court observed in a unanimous verdict that Musk brought his case too late, Reuters reported.
