ECI seeks public views on five queries linked to Bihar S.I.R
New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday sought public opinion on a set of questions linked to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. The step comes at a time when the revision exercise has led to a political standoff between the state's ruling and opposition parties.
