India, Oct. 3 -- Two people were injured in a shooting at the Walmart on Camino Del Rio in Durango, Colorado on Thursday afternoon, Durango Police confirmed.

The department said on social media that it is not an active shooter situation and there is no known ongoing threat to the public. No information was immediately available on the suspect.

Durango Police asked the public to avid the area to let first responders work the scene.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the shooting. The current condition of the injured are also unknown.
