Bhubaneswar, July 15 -- A 37-year-old man was killed after a speeding Mercedes-Benz allegedly driven by an intoxicated 21-year-old law student rammed into his motorcycle near Shastri Nagar Square in Bhubaneswar, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place late on Monday. The accused, Soumya Ranjan Rath, was arrested and produced before a court on Tuesday, said Kharavela Nagar police station inspector-in-charge Debendra Biswal. "The victim, Debiprasad Routray, an air-conditioner mechanic from Nishchintakoili in Cuttack district, died on the spot.
