India, Oct. 7 -- A massive fire broke out at the Dow Chemical's plant Freeport, Texas amid reports of an explosion on Monday afternoon amid reports of an explosion. Dow Chemical confirmed the news in social media posts, saying that the fire broke out at Plant B of the facility.

"Our community may see smoke or hear emergency vehicles responding," the plant said in a post on X. "There is nothing required of our community at this time."

As of now, it is not clear if anyone was injured or if shelter in place was issued.
