Doc held for sexually harassing patient
NEW DELHI, Sept. 12 -- A resident doctor at a government hospital in Burari has been booked for allegedly sexually harassing a 21-year-old woman who came to the hospital on Tuesday with her mother seeking treatment for a lump, police said on Thursday.
Deputy commissioner of police (north) Raja Banthia confirmed the alleged incident and identified the doctor as Mohammed Imran, who was arrested on Wednesday.
According to police, the woman said in her complaint that she visited the hospital with her mother on Tuesday after noticing a lump in her chest over the past two weeks.
