DL-13 may return in RTO revamp plan
New Delhi, April 4 -- The Delhi transport department is planning to reopen several previously operational regional transport offices (RTOs) as part of a restructuring plan, with 13 offices-one in each district-likely to be made operational, officials aware of the matter said on Friday.
As part of the administrative restructuring, the department has also decided to revive the DL-13 vehicle registration series, which had not been in use for the past few years.
