India, June 4 -- The Federation of Western India Cine Employees' (FWICE) decision to withdraw its non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh has sparked speculation that the move came after the actor sent the federation a legal notice. However, FWICE president BN Tiwari has dismissed the claims, asserting that the body did not take the decision "on a gunpoint".
On Wednesday, FWICE withdrew its non-cooperation directive against Ranveer, which had been imposed on May 25 following his controversial exit from Farhan Akhtar's Don 3. They announced the decision at a press meet in Mumbai.
