New Delhi, April 11 -- The Delhi government is set to establish a district TB centre/chest clinic at the Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) in Najafgarh under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). The facility will include a 10-bed indoor patient department (IPD) to cater both drug-sensitive and drug-resistant TB patients, health department officials said. Health minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said,"The Delhi government is committed to strengthening grassroots healthcare infrastructure. This facility will significantly improve accessibility to timely diagnosis, specialised consultation and comprehensive treatment for TB patients in South West Delhi." Ridhima Gupta
