New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- The Capital's pollution inched back into the deep-red "severe" category on Sunday evening, as wind slowed down and pollutants hung in the air. Delhi clocked an air quality index (AQI) of 404 at 11pm on Sunday, after an initial reading of 390, according to the Central Pollution Control Board's 4pm bulletin. Safdarjung recorded dense fog, with the visibility plunging to 100m at 8 am. Over 400 flights were delayed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.P3
