NEW DELHI, Sept. 26 -- A Delhi court on Thursday reserved order on the bail plea of Gaganpreet Makkad, accused in the Dhaula Kuan BMW crash that killed 52-year-old finance ministry staffer Navjot Singh. Judicial magistrate Ankit Garg will rule on Saturday after reviewing arguments and CCTV footage. Makkad's defence claimed the BMW did not hit Singh's motorcycle from behind and that both vehicles were at equal speed, while the fatal collision involved a bus. They also said Singh's body lay unattended for minutes. Prosecutor Atul Shrivastava alleged Makkad ignored the golden hour principle, taking Singh to Nulife Hospital-19km away-bypassing nearer trauma centres. He argued her conduct showed negligence and intent to conceal the incident.
